A pencil sketch of DC's hero Captain Marvel, also know as Shazam, in action. First appearing in Whiz Comics #2 (1940). He is the alter ego of Billy Batson, a boy who, by speaking the word "shazam",he can transform into an adult superhero with numerous powers. SHAZAM is also an acronym and spells each of the powers he acquires. S- the Wisdom of Solomon. H- the strength of Hercules. A- the Stamina of Atlas. Z- the Power of Zeus. A- the Courage of Achilles. M- the Speed of Mercury. Combined together to create a super human being with a sense of goofy and fun humor. Greg sketches Shazam sprinting into action and into the hearts of all comic fans near and far.
