Description: This was a fun painting for Greg, as he was able to depict Poseidon rushing from the waves with his thundering steeds! Greg's designs for this piece are very unique, and powerful like the god! In 1982, Greg Hildebrandt decided to do a series of paintings for a limited, numbered portfolio -- a group of prints-- titled, "Gods and Goddesses". He chose from the myths that he loved and the characters that he loved. Greg painted these images very large, as he believed there was no other size appropriate to contain a god.
