Description: In 1981 Greg and Tim Hildebrandt separated their business partnership. The world had known them as The Brothers Hildebrandt. Now it was time for each of them to create individually. Greg began to create imagery for Verkerke poster company in Holland. At that time, they were the largest poster company in the world. This image is part of a series of fantasy paintings Greg was working on for a set of themed posters. This piece was also used as the cover for Heavy Metal Magazine's September 1985 issue. Greg did a series of beautiful women with mythical creatures. This was a final sketch that Greg used to paint the finished poster.
