Description: This was the first ever painted graphic novel by Greg and Tim. The X-Men 2099 from the outskirts of cyberpunk societies and the future unknown, three mutant allies- Cerebra, Skullfire and La Lunatica seek another mutant but find a commune of mutant integration with a cult-leader who is set to create a new utopia at a far darker cost. A one-shot special edition variant of X-Men 2099, X-Men: Oasis. Greg and Tim were very excited to paint a graphic novel, the entire book took them approximately 7 months working together everyday to create the imagery for this book. During their careers they only painted two graphic novels, one for Marvel and one for DC. This imagery afforded them the opportunity to push their color palette into a very bright, high contrast, visual which they thoroughly enjoyed.
