Black Beauty was one of the worlds most admired Horses from Novel to Movie … this 1920’s Shoe polish played on the Horse’s popularity. The polish boasted to contain No turpentine & No acids! & Once Tried, Always Used. Enough said. The image is from an original stone lithograph printed ink blotter.
Each tin sign is designed and made in the United States using 24 gauge American steel and a process known as sublimation, where the image is baked into a powder coating for a durable and long lasting finish. A vintaging process is then performed by hand to give these signs an aged look and feel. Each sign is drilled and riveted for easy hanging. All you need is 2 nails and a hammer!
Based on actual barber shop and shoeshine imagery.
