Description: This beautiful painting of Treasure Island was created in 2007 by Greg Hildebrandt as a cover for Marvel Comics when Marvel was venturing into the world of classics in Comics. Greg loves the classics, so it was no surprise that he was very excited to be asked if he would do the six covers for the Treasure Island series, as it had been many years since Greg painted any Classic Illustrations. His favorite line from Disney’s Treasure Island movie is when Long John Silver says “What fool cut up a bible!” This is cover #6 in the series. Published by Marvel Comics, the first book was released June 13th, 2007 and the final book was released November 21st, 2007.
